Just an interesting thing that happend recently with one of my female Convicts.
I went to the tank and saw she was swimming upside down. I watched for a while and knew right away there was a serious problum.
I went to the Chiclid Forum for help and they told me for sure she was going to die, but if there was any chance to save her to try 3 things befor takeing her to the toilet heaven.
1. Teaspoon of ebsom salt to the water
3. feed them peeled peas, for digestion.
4. raise the temperture of the water.
Today she is swimming perfectly with her tank mates like nothing was ever wrong. So glad I didnt used the toliet befor trying to save her.
