8 queens of Death
I know it's a very old chess puzzle but I recently relived my high school days on the chess team when I found mention of it on the internet somewhere. Very simple, you take 8 pawns (used as queens) on an otherwise clear board and arrange them so all 8 queens are not attacking each other. There are 12 known unique solutions as you can see in the following image.
