I found this Video from Channel 4 NBC about Jiffy Lube very interesting, It talks about how they scam people out of there money for repairs that are not done. There are several video's that they did about them that were done between 2003 through 2006. The lube place in town did try the color comparison trick on me for my Differential oil.
I thought it was silly to recommend an oil change based only on oil color but they tried it on me. As a mechanic I know that the oil should be replaced based on milage but what I did not know is that it is illegal for them to do that.
