Can you solve a problem for me please?

I have a strange problem. When I put a disk CD or DVD in, no longer dose my computer open it for me and ask me if i want to open it to view files or play it or anything. I put it in and wait and get nothing. I can however go to windows explorer and click on my computer and then right clik on the disk Icon to open it or play useing power DVD. This is just anoying and I am sure this is a simple thing to fix but darn if i can figure it out.

Be sure to have a CD in the Drive before you begin
Enabling AutoPlay on a data and audio CD (Windows XP)


1. Open My Computer or Explorer
2. Highlight the CD-ROM drive, right click the CD-ROM drive and click properties.
3. Click the AutoPlay tab. Within this section you will be able to specify all Windows AutoPlay features.

Yes it did! This did work for me. but it did not stick untill I rebooted.
