We set sail on the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship, The Brilliance of the Sea's on October 20th Saturday 2018. Little did we know at the time back home at that exact time our neighborhood was getting 40 MPH winds and a large tree had fallen caught fire and took out electric wires that caused the power to be out for about 7 hours. This effected our Late Night Movie Gang Night Saturday Night Movie plans. I truly wish to apologize for this issue, that was beyond my control.

What are the odds? Just at the moment I am for the first time in years away from my home, BLAMO, a freak storm hits and wipes out my server? My battery backup can keep "V-world" up and running for 4 hours but apparently still required a slight interaction from me to come back on-line.

Meanwhile back on the ship for a week, I enjoyed myself as much as possible! Comedy Club for laughs, buffet table nearly morning noon and night, fancy dinner, 85 and sunny every day. First the Cayman Islands, then on to Cozmel Mexico!

The Cayman's were interesting as it was the first time I had been there, the whole "We never have to pay tax for Life, because we saved the Queen" deal is interesting, but I have yet to verify that it is true and not just an urban legend. I saw the Iguana's and wild chickens all over the place, so at least I can verify that part was true. Pinky would love it.

In search of the perfect Breakfast - Brilliance of the Seas

I am certainly no food critic, and I am not trying to pass judgment on this beautiful ship and it's competent crew. However I did fail to assemble "my idea of the perfect breakfast" while on this trip. And I wanted to explain what I mean.

Breakfast Day 1: I walk in go straight to the corner instantly find french toast, pile it on my plate with bacon and pineapples and crescent. Perfect Breakfast achieved.

Breakfast Day 2: I walk in go straight to the corner instantly I realize, no french toast. There is pancakes with "I think" raisins baked into it already? Or waffles, not a big fan so I pass. Though out the trip people I am with mention they dislike the instant scrambled egg's but I am not that picky and they seamed good to me. Scrambled egg's, hash brown wedge thing, mushrooms and salsa with crescent. Satisfying breakfast to me.

Breakfast Day 3: I walk in go straight to the corner instantly I realize, no french toast. Scrambled egg's, hash brown wedge thing, mushrooms and salsa with crescent. Satisfying breakfast to me.

Breakfast Day 4: I walk in go straight to the corner instantly I realize, no french toast. Scrambled egg's, hash brown wedge thing, mushrooms and salsa with crescent. Satisfying breakfast to me.

At some point I start to come up with an idea, I'll just hit that omelet table guy, have him make me some french toast.

Breakfast Day 5: I walk in go straight to the corner instantly I realize, no french toast. I head over to the Omelet table guy to execute my plan, BAMM No Omelet table guy, he has failed to wake up for work or something, the grill corner was closed. Scrambled egg's, hash brown wedge thing, mushrooms and salsa with crescent. Satisfying breakfast to me.
