When we first boarded the ship around noon, there was lunch to eat at the buffet, and you could browse around the ship somewhat, but most of the ship was still closed down.

The rooms were not to be ready until 2:00 pm so you you basically had to find something to do, either eat, or sit and wait. The time passed quickly and before you knew it (I think I took a short nap in the sun) was time to go to the room. The room was real nice, larger then I predicted and the balcony made it nice, having and door that opened up the room to the fresh outside air was great. In the room there was a digital safe, and refrigerator stocked with all kinds of booze and soda's, we didn't take any of it because I was unsure how much it costs, I wonder if anyone does?

It's difficult to take photo's of this ship due to the size, when you are close while boarding the camera just does not have a wide enough lens. I got some better photo's of the ship when were on the Islands. Here is a shot I took from inside the bar Senior Frogs, the Norwegian Sky is docked next to the Monarch of the Sea (Royal Caribbean)

Here is another shot of the Sky from the dock as we were walking back to get on board.

These photo's simply do not due justice to the size of these ships, the Sky has 12 or 13 decks and holds something like 2000 passengers, I don't have all the specs handy but its truly huge.
