Thank goodness it's May!
With the exception of Holy Week, April was a terrible month for me. I felt tired and sick for the majority of it. I'm not sure why. It could just be that my years of getting no sleep are finally starting to catch up with me. For whatever reason, April was all about being tired and dealing with ennui. It was not fun and I wasn't particularly happy for much of the month.
Fortunately, April is over!
It's May!
May! It's a month that is often overlooked but it's still important because it's one of the last months during the first half of the year. May is the month when you make the decisions that pretty much shape the rest of your year. You can be lazy for the first four months of the year but, once May comes around, it's time to start giving some thought to what you want to remember about the year.
What do I want for 2022?
I want to write.
I want to laugh.
I want to enjoy life.
And that's what I'm going to do.
So, goodbye to the first fourth of the year! And hello, May!
My old friend, May!
It's good to see you again.
