Finally got a to the beautiful Doral Golf Resort and spa on Sunday. The place is huge, 5 golf coarse to choose from, and tons of things to see, so we spent a short time at the resort and then went to another hotel up the road to watch the Vikings kill the Cowboy's.

Kathy Said: It was a disappointing day for Michael. Staying at a 5 star world class golf course and getting pulled away to just a plain old hotel as myke would say to hang out and watch football was not what he wanted to do.. again he was a trooper...let's see if we can get him golfing on the grand Bahama's tomorrow.
We did walk the first hole on the blue monster in the dark, shhh... I'm not sure if its allowed, but nobody stopped us? It was a very nice cart path, it would have been nice to play that course for sure.

It's Monday time to get the Impala back to rental place and find our boat. woohoo

Once it turned daylight, I took a shower and went out for the morning to find breakfast and take some more photo's if possible before the car rental return. I got a few minutes to snap some more photos of the place before I had to run out and drop off the rental car. Both times we ate there, the service was so slow that it hogs up all the time, the food was excellent for sure, just slow service. Maybe it just seamed that way because I was so excited to walk around the place and just couldn't seam to get the time to do it?

Looks like the next big PGA tournament that will be held at the Doral Blue Monster will be on March 9 - 14th 2010, I will have to record it with my DVR, I'm sure I wont get to watch it live, something will be happening at that exact moment that prevents it. Although all I got to do at this resort was sleep and eat, it was nice to see how beautiful it really is in person and maybe some day I can go back and shoot 18.
