Twitter's apparently introducing a new thing where random people can fact check other people's tweets.

That's going to be such a disaster. Honestly, it's hard for me to believe that the people on twitter don't realize that it's going to be a disaster. I imagine this is more about keeping the "social media needs to be regulated" types happy than anything else. For all the claims that twitter is trying to tone down the drama, all of their actions seem to suggest otherwise.

Myself, I'll be insulted if my film tweets don't get fact-checked.
