Well, the order has come down. Here, in Dallas County, we have been ordered to shelter-in-place and only leave the house if we absolutely have to. I was already doing that but I kind of resent being ordered to do it. I'm not a huge fan of the government to begin and being told that I have to do something is not doing much to change that feeling.

It's frustrating. We nearly had a relief bill passed in the Senate but instead, the Democrats have decided that they should never let a crisis go to waste so they're holding things up while Americans lose their jobs and die. That's one reason why I've never bought into that "Vote Blue No Matter Who" nonsense that so many of my followers on twitter seem to be into. If you're going vote for someone "no matter who," then those people have no incentive to look out for you.

Anyway, I'm feeling healthy. I went for a run earlier today and I'm glad I did, though it was eerie seeing all of the deserted streets. I'll be glad when this is over.
