  • Novarossi P5X and Jammin JP-2

The Race Season is Fast approaching.

I have begun shopping for a new Motor and Pipe, and here is what I have found so far...

Why do I need a new motor? I bought my buggy used at the end of last year and the motor runs very good (Rex P5) however I can tell that it is starting to get tired because During the last dirt dawg race of the season I notice the rest of the pack was running faster then me on the straight at daves track.

Available from Carolinas R/C is the Novarossi P5X for $275

Why do I need a new pipe? I didnt have a pipe that worked so my friend Tim Booker had a used one and sold it to me for $20, Its very nice and was worth the money but its not new and dose have one small dent that could be robbing performance.

Available from Carolinas R/C is the Jammin JP-2 for $70

This looks like a nice pipe, and the Billet outlet looks like it would pretty tuff to bend.

The Novarossi P5X comes also as a modified version by Jim Hottinger that supposedly improves performance, Anyone have an opinion if these Modified motor's really do run any better? It's about a $50 option.
