I finished the Sopranos last night. I ran a poll on twitter asking which HBO show I should binge next and 37% of the votes were for Oz which .... I mean, ugh. I don't know. I finished the 1st season. It's an interesting show that takes place in a prison but it's a little bit too violent and heavy-handed in its politics for me. I mean, I'm a veteran when it comes to opposing the death penalty and even I found the show's capital punishment episode to be ludicrously over the top.

But, fortunately, there's only like 52 episodes of Oz so I should be able to knock it out pretty quickly. After Oz, I'll move onto Deadwood and, by the time I finish Deadwood, all of the old HBO shows will have probably been yanked off of Prime.
