  • Tuesday June 18th 2013 The Impala revival

The 1965 Chevy Impala revival project took all day, started at 7 AM and drove it twice around the block by Dark. I still need a battery and a few odd's and ends. The main problem with this car is that it has no seat belts. As I understand it, since the seat belt was only an option in 65 the cut off date for the law is 1965. I just can't take the risk on getting busted for it, I intend to install some after market belts in at least the 2 front seats in the morning.

Bought a new battery and got the car out of the garage and washed it today.

Do we get pix as you go along? I drove a '69 Impala years ago.

We don't have to add seat belt if the car didn't come out with them originally.

Someone i know just imported one of these.

I put some in for now, not allot of mounting options in the floor. At least you don't need to worry about being over the center of the drivers side air bag
